Well done to Amy Kershaw who took part in the AMA Open International in Sheffield on February 27th and 28th 2016. Amy made the finals of Shotokan kata and the quarter finals in kumite.
12 year old 1st Dan Karate Black Belt Amy is a member of Hasha Karate England and has the honour of being trained by Sensei George Best, 7th Dan and former World Karate Champion. To date Amy has won 3 gold and 3 bronze medals in UK tournaments, this is her first competition where she competed against entrants from other countries.
FPS will be sponsoring Amy’s competition entries this year, so best of luck to her and we’ll update the website with her results in future contests.
